August In the Pickle Jar

Hi Folks

Its time for another post and things have been super busy here in the Pickle Jar. For starters I have been painting and creating bunnies left, right and centre. I have also been retaking all my photographs for the Etsy page and just generally sprucing things up.

As well as this I have been organising new packaging for everything including fancy new stickers and fully recyclable boxes, postage bags the works. All ready for the upcoming end of year craziness.

On top of all this I've been busy with some commissions, Including this fun little kids menu and colouring page for Riverhead Coffee here in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

 

  So as you can see I've been a busy bunny and there's still plenty more cool stuff on the horizon.

Black Friday Etsy

AT-AT attack

Well I've finally finished this beast of an LIA (Literary Invasion Art). The AT-AT is an icon of the Star Wars universe and one of my favourite Sci-Fi vehicles. This piece is A4 in pen and ink, and will look great on the easel at Nottingham Comic Con on Saturday. 
If you fancy getting hold of a unique piece of art he's going to be available for £80 fully framed as seen. Commission pieces are also available so please feel free to contact me if you're interested.

More LIA's

I've been busy doing more Star Wars LIA's recently including this Boba Fett one, which was great fun to draw. I have many more planned with a possible large Slave 1 on the horizon too. 

I've also got some more books for LIA commissions and projects so if you fancy something from either of these drop me a message and I'll see what I can do for you.

Star Wars LIA

Have just finished a new Star Wars LIA commission. This time it's Luke Skywalkers helmet. I'm thinking of doing all of red squadron and some really big pieces too if anyone is interested. More on that soon.

The Black Angel

Things have been busy over at the pickle jar as usual with commissions and projects galore.  One such piece I have to share with you all is an LIA just finished for the Black Angel!!! For those of you who maybe aren't as geeky as the rest of us, the Black Angel was a short film released at the cinema along with The Empire Strikes Back in 1980 and was created by the legendary Roger Christian. Who has worked as art director, assistant director and set designer for most of the Star Wars films as well as Alien and many more great films. 

This was a great fun piece to work on and is now hanging pride of place in the office of the Black Angel team. Being a massive geek it's great to be even a tiny part of something as great as this and if you haven't seen the Black Angel then I highly recommend you take a look at the video below and I've put some links at the bottom.
