April in the Pickle Jar

Welcome to this month's Pickle Jar. It's been a busy one this month. I've been working on  various unfinished Landmark prints as well as rephotographing them all and updating the Etsy store. 
Below is my finally finished Tatooine print which I can't wait to get printed. If you're interested in a copy drop me a message and I'll do a pre-order list. Might even do a special offer with the other Star Wars prints!!

I've also been busy working on Apple Tree Pirates pages in particular puzzle pages which has been great fun. The creative genius that is my 9 year old has come up with some more characters for me to draw at some point too.

Right well I'd best get back to the drawing board and get some work done. Speak to you all soon.

March In the Pickle Jar

In the Pickle Jar this month I've been super busy getting everything back up and running so I can push forward with all the plans for this year. As such I thought I'd share some of it with you. I also thought I could do a monthly 'In the Pickle Jar' to keep you all updated.
So what have I been doing?!? Well I've been updating the Apple Tree Pirates Patreon page and cracking on with drawing strips and puzzle pages for them.

As well as the Apple Tree Pirates I've been busy working on some new LIA's (Literary Invasion Art) where as before they were mostly single page pieces like in the front of the pile below, I've now started work on some much bigger pieces including a couple of secret ones I'll tell you about another time. All of this and new landmark prints coming for the Etsy store too. So watch this space for more funky updates.

Etsy Shop Update

I've been busy taking new photos and updating the Etsy store today. About half way through it so far with loads more coming tomorrow. Check out the shop for some cool christmas gifts. Click on the banner above to head to the shop.

The Humber

Hot off the desktop I have finished the newest member of the 'Landmark' collection. For all of you who love the humber bridge whether you're local or not, I will be getting these printed and added to the shop. If you're interested in one drop me a message and I'll put you on the list.

It's been a while since I posted a new addition to the 'Landmark' collection so thought I'd share this one with you. 

Stormont Castle in Belfast was done as a commission a while back and will now be available to everybody. So if Belfast holds a particular place in your heart then let me know and I can get some printed up.

Nottingham Comic Con

Its all getting exciting over here at the pickle jar. On October the 4th I will be exhibiting at Nottingham Comic Con. This is the second year it's been running  now (it was called NerdFest last year). There are a load of very cool comic guests and exhibitors going, so if you get the chance pop on over and say hi. 

I will be taking all sorts of things with me this year including sketch cards, custom kicks, and LIA's. I will also be taking all the 'Project Cornelius' stuff with me and some very cool comics I've been working on with people. As if that wasn't enough I'm doing a special Landmark print for Nottingham which will not be available anywhere before then.

The New Web Store

Hello everybody.
Over the last few months I've been really busy working on the fantastic extension to the Pickle. Namely our cool shop in Grimsby 'Made By'. Its been hard work as im sure anybody setting up a business/shop will tell you but were starting to get a lot more people through the door from word of mouth which is a fantastic and underrated form of advertising. As well as the shop I built a little web shop which served a purpose but was generally speaking pretty pants. Now however I've been busy squirrelling away and have finally launched the new site. Yes you heard correct the new webshop is live and ready for your perusal. 

It has a lot more fancy stuff going on behind the scenes including security features as well as new stock and new layout which should make your shopping experience run more smoothly. So if you're in or around the Grimsby area please feel free to drop in the shop and say hello. However if you can't make it for what ever reason then now you can buy with confidence online and still get all the same cool stuff.
